So, it's Fourth Down. This might be the Malfs' last chance to do another miracle. Three receivers, one man in the backfield.

Here's the snap, he goes for another delayed handoff but the defense is all over the running back. He tries to escape to the outside but he won't make it. Now he loses the football. That should be it. The ball rolls out of bounds for a loss of about 5 yds and that's the ball game.

The Kobras will take over on downs at the Malfs 13 with 24 seconds left. The Malfs have only one timeout remaing, so the Kobras will be able to kneel down and win it.

Kobras 31, Malfunxionistz 24 - that will be the final score of a game that seemed to be over early in the third when the Kobras jumped ahead 24-nothing, but the Malfs fought back in style. But this time, it was just too-little-too-late.

Congratulations to the Kobras who have bounced back from their loss to the Dieselz.

schoen, dass das spiel zumindest noch ein klein wenig spannend wurde, obwohl es recht bald entschieden war.  der sargnagel war wirklich der letzte td unmittelbar nachdem ich unfaehig war punkte aus der interception zu schlagen.

genau...  ich wuerde sagen, wir machen's uns noch eine woche oder zwei im regelthread gemuetlich und zurren die aenderungen fest...  und bis dahin sollte sich dann auch ein gegner gefunden haben. =)

spielleiter kann ich wieder machen, falls das gewuenscht wird oder sich niemand anderer findet.  daran soll es nicht scheitern.  auch wenn meine kommentare nicht ganz so genial ausfallen werden wie die des refs dieser partie. =)

Game-Center Play-by-Play Style tut's absolut auch... 

ein wenig color commentary darf ja durchaus sein... ich werde mich bemuehen.  ein paar alte starkey-/plummer-aufnahmen von 49ers-spielen hab ich ja auch noch auf der platte.

ich glaube, ich habe sogar den mitschnitt jenes hochgelobten spiel gegen die steelers 2003 mit rattay auf qb im fundus (mit der lott-jersey-retirement-ceremony im dritten viertel)... *g*

Erstmal für das abgelaufene Spiel und den Kommentar dazu! War ein Fest, das zu verfolgen.

Sollte sich kein (neuer) Gegner finden würde ich mich durchaus auf ein Match gegen duffeldoffel einlassen wollen.
