Here's the snap, the QB drops back, delayed handoff but the defenders are there. The running back tries to escape to the outside but there's nowhere to... AND HE LOSES THE FOOTBALL but the ball bounces out of bounds before any defender can get to the ball.
Anyway, it's a loss of 5 yds on the play and it's Fourth Down from the 7 coming up.

The Malfs head coach has a decision to make here. They need points and a 13-point game with an entire quarter left to play would not be such a hopeless thing.

Fourth-and-Goal from the 7. The Malfs have had a Fourth Down converted earlier today. Let's see if they can do it again.
Only one man in the backfield. Here's the snap, the QB drops back, delayed handoff again, the running back tries to go up the middle but the gap is closed. He cuts to the right but no space there. He turns around, tries to head for the other side but down he goes at the 10-yd line.
A loss of 3 yds and the Malfs turn the ball over on downs. This might be the momentum killer the Kobras needed to keep control of the game.

So, the Kobras are still up by 16 with a little less than a minute and a half left to play in the third. And they will take over at their own 10-yd line when we come back.

WOW - a 90-yd touchdown run which should seal victory for the Kobras now. It's Kobras 30, Malfunxionistz 8. The momentum has shifted again.
The running back has had a 72-yd touchdown and another 78-yd run earlier today. And the Kobras have 321 Rushing Yards and we're still in the third quarter - how about that.

...the return man starts to run, has a blocker, now cuts to the right, spins out of a tackle, tries to fake out another tackler but is pushed out of bounds at the 31 for a decent return of 20 yds.
