aufgrund der fehlenden zeit, konnte ich die draft nicht mehr so 100% verfolgen und habe dann im eröffnungspost bei den positionen nachgeschaut, die bereits vergeben wurden und da ist mcgee noch nicht aufgezählt.

oh mann, ich brauch urlaub...

hab nochmal nachgeschaut. klar ist er aufgeführt, allerdings unter diesem strich. da muss ich geistig schon abgeschlossen haben.

also, dann reilly vor harrell. die anderen beiden, konnten mich nicht wirklich überzeugen.

wilson is bei den colts... und ich bin gar net traurig drüber, dass der weg ist. ;-)

Das hat sicher seine Gründe

Aussagen über Reed:

Reed, a former defensive end at Oregon, was never given a chance by NFL scouts, no matter how productive he was in college. But after posting a 4.71 40 time at his pro day, he's now being taken more seriously. At 6-2, 245 pounds, Reed is undersized for the defensive end position, but he plays with reckless abandon, works hard and I think his skill set might be best suited to play inside linebacker in a 3-4. Reed is considered more of a late-round prospect who doesn't possess much upside, but all the guy has ever done is produce. He should get a shot somewhere at the next level.

Nick Reed defined "impact player" during his career at Oregon. His numbers in 2008 were again gaudy: 53 tackles, 20 tackles for-a-loss, 13 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 5 fumble recoveries. Nick was a two-time first-team All Pac-10 player, a first-team All-American and the Pac-10's 2008 Morris Trophy winner as the top defensive lineman. Quarterbacks and left tackles throughout the Pac-10 are happy to see Nick go. We are not.

Reed is Oregon's all-time sacks leader with 29 ½ and finished fourth in the NCAA with 13 sacks last fall. He also finished ninth in the nation in tackles for losses with 20. Fifty-two of his 148 career tackles were for losses. He also was an academic All-American.

Nick's older brother, Lance Moore, came out of Toledo as an undrafted free agent in 2005. He was Toledo's all-time leading receiver and was cut three times by two NFL teams.
But Lance Moore led the New Orleans Saints in receiving last season with 79 catches for 928 yards and 10 touchdowns. You'd think the NFL would want to take a closer look at Nick, given its failure to properly evaluate Lance.

Reed is not a chiseled specimen or workout warrior, but Oregon's all-time sack leader (29.5) was named the Ducks' Most Outstanding Player in 2008 in addition to garnering All-American and first-team All-Pac 10 honors for the second year in a row. The three-year starter put up 13 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries and 20 tackles for loss in 2008. Scouts are worried that Reed's craftiness and hustle may not be enough against veteran NFL offensive linemen, especially late in the game when he runs out of gas.

Da hatten wir ja den gleichen Gedanken... 

Ich hätte trotzdem nichts gegen einen QB. da ich heute nicht mehr online sein werde, hier meine Favoriten.

Meike Reilly und Tom Brandstater (wäre mit beiden einverstanden)

Graham Harrell hat im Laufe der Saison in seiner Leistung stark nachgelassen. Uns seine Leistung bei der Senior Bowl war unterirdisch. Auch die Combine Drills waren nicht berauschend. Insbesondere die Leistung bei der Senior Bowl lässt darauf schließen, dass er doch eher vom System und sen Spielern um ihn herum getragen wurde.

Ich schlage vor, dass wir diesmal Mike Reilly oder Brandstater nehmen. Bei Nick Reed sind die Chancen größer, dass er vielleicht auch noch am Ende der siebten Runde zu bekommen ist. Graham Harrell will ich auf gar keinen Fall. Ich fand ihn wirklich schlecht, im letzten Jahr.

Reilly gefällt mir bis jetzt von den beiden QBs besser. Aber ich muss noch etwas mehr über Brandstater lesen.

btw: die pro day zeit (4,72) von reed relativiert doch vieles. ich schau mir das nochmal an. aber ohne qb aus der draft zu gehn, wäre einfach wahnsinn.

Tom Brandstater

Ich habe Reilly gepickt. Es ist schon ein Glück den besten QB dieser Draft so spät zu bekommen.
Mit dem nächsten Pick will ich aber endlich Nick Reed.

Nick Reed findet logischerweise auch meine Zustimmung.  Sollte uns ein anderes Taem zuvorkommen (oder für den Fall, dass noch jemand Alternativen für unseren letzten Pick sucht), hier noch ein Paar Namen:

3-4 OLB: Stryker Sulak / Victor Butler / Julius Williams / Pierre Walters 
3-4 DL: Myron Pryor / Khalif Mitchel

Auch ich habe nichts gegen Reed einzuwenden.
