The QB takes the snap, gives the handoff to the running back, he breaks a tackle, avoids another one, has a First Down, breaks another tackle, still on his feet near the sideline...
But then he's pushed out of bounds for a gain of 23 yds, how about that? This has been the longest play from scrimmage so far today, and the Kobras are in Malfs territory.

The Kobras are in opponents territory. After starting at their own 8 and somehow overcoming a blocked punt it looks like the Kobras have found a rhythm on offense.

Here's the snap, the QB drops back to throw, has protection, throws deeeep... JUGGLING CATCH! Oh, he can't hold on to the ball.
The pass was a little off target, the receiver had to adjust and just couldn't control the ball.
Second-and-ten but the Kobras continue to have good calls against the defense...

So, second-and-ten, here's the snap, delayed handoff, the running back has to cut to the right, tries to get around the edge and does. And he gets about 8 yds before he goes out of bounds bringing up third-and-short.

The offense is functioning very well at the moment. Maybe we're about to see the first successful third-down conversion.

Here's the snap, handoff to the running back, tries to go north, bounces off a defender, tries to get around the edge and makes it to the first-down marker before he gets out of bounds.
Great effort by the running back and the Kobras' have indeed converted a third down.

nach langen diskussionen war der defense coordinator ueberstimmt -- und die malfunxionistz nehmen die strafe an. ;-)

Three-receivers set, here's the snap, delayed handoff but the defense doesn't buy it. The runner is under pressure, and he's... no, he wrestles himself out of the tackle, has a blocker and makes it to the 12 where he goes out bounds.
Man, what a great effort by the running back. He looked like going down in the backfield but in the end got a 3-yd gain.
