ansonsten ist es dieses jahr so schwer, wie lange nicht. alle möglichen spieler (orakpo, brown, sanchez, macklin) sehe ich eng beinander.

Wie gesagt, meinen Segen hätte er  :cool:, auch wenn ich, je mehr ich nachdenke, sogar E. Brown vor Orakpo wählen würde (aber stehe ich eher alleine da). Brown ist imho der bessere Pass-Rusher und das fehlt uns in erster Linie.

Nach Orakpo wäre dann die Entscheidung zwischen E. Brown oder M. Sanchez zu treffen.

Bei anderen Spielern, wie Maclin, M. Jenkins, Oher gehen die Meinungen wohl zu sehr auseinander.

meinen segen hat orakpo auch. und sollte er weg sein und more zwischen sanchez und brown entscheiden kann ich auch mit beiden leben. und auch malckin ginge für mich in ordnung. die wenigen no brainer sind für mich mit den ersten 5 picks gegangen...

Na super, da habe ich ja jetzt die A-Karte gezogen. Aber der Reihe nach: Orakpo wäre derzeit auch mein Favorit, aber ich gehe auch davon aus, dass die Packers ihn nehmen. Sanchez hat für mich eine Menge Potenzial und ich würde ihn eigentlich gerne bei den Niners sehen. Aus dem wird imho ein richtig guter NFL-QB. Ist nur die Frage, ob er das auch bei den Niners werden kann. Über Maclin habe ich unheimlich viel Gutes gelesen, und er könnte ordentlich helfen. Dennoch: Schweren Herzens - ich weiß, dass ich es bereuen werde, und ich würde bei der richtigen Draft jubeln, wenn Sanchez der Pick der Niners wäre - tendiere ich zu Everette Brown.

Jetzt isses raus ... aber viel besser fühle ich mich nicht ...

Das macht es für uns natürlich jetzt einfach. Hoffentlich läuft die Draft im April genauso. Aber das wird leider nicht passieren. 

Wir dürfen aber erst morgen ab 8 Uhr den Pick bekannt machen.

Ich geh dann mal davon aus, wir nehmen Brian Orakpo...und es macht keinen Sinn nochmal für Everette Brown die Werbetrommel zu rühren

Football`s Future:
Brown had an immediate impact for the 'Noles as a freshman, earning Freshman All American honors after tallying 27 tackles, 13.5 for loss, and three sacks on the year. As a sophomore he started eight of 13 games, leading the team with 11.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks to go along with 37 tackles. Brown became a full time starter last year as a junior, and had a tremendous season. He had 36 tackles, 21.5 for loss, and 13.5 sacks on the year.

Strengths

Everette Brown is a true game changer as a pass rusher. His ability to apply pressure off the edge is second to none in this draft. He is a physical specimen with tremendous athleticism and speed. Brown explodes off the snap and aggressively gets up the field towards the quarterback. He uses his natural athleticism and agility to routinely beat tackles. He can change direction well, and quickly accelerates once locks onto his target, and has the speed to chase plays down. Brown has been extremely productive, even in a reserve role. He only started 11 games during his first two seasons in Tallahassee, but managed 25 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks. Brown's pass rush ability will translate to an OLB position in a 3-4, or a DE in a 4-3 alignment.

Weaknesses

Brown carries the tweener label, which really has not been a negative for years. It creates some questions about where he fits best and some players just do not make the transition from hand down to standing up. As a defensive end, he lacks the bulk to hold up at the point of attack at the line of scrimmage, and must bulk up or be relegated to a situational role. As a 3-4 OLB, he will need to learn to play in space and cover at times.

Future

Brown appears to be the ideal prospect as a 3-4 outside linebacker. His pass rush ability will impact any club in any defense, so he carries a lot of value in the draft. He is a first round lock, that could potentially rise into top ten consideration when all is said and done.

Strengths: Brown continues on the tradition of Seminole pass rushing defensive ends. He had 13.5 sacks in his junior season and 21.5 tackles for loss. He has a fast first step that allows him to be a consistent penetrator in the backfield. Brown has a strong hand punch to jar away offensive tackles, and a powerful upper body. His pass rush moves are still growing, but he has shown a good spin move, similar to the Colts star defensive end Dwight Freeney. When rushing the passer, Brown shows solid awareness. He keeps low, and uses his height as an advantage to keep under the tackle's line of sight. His use of leverage is very savvy. He moves well laterally and has good quicks. He shows good awareness and ability to defend the flat. He is an aggressive defender who is at his best attacking the quarterback and collapsing the pocket.

Weaknesses: He is slightly short for a pass rusher with only average arm length. Offensive linemen can get into Brown's body easily, and neutralize him. Has a good hand punch like mentioned before, but he can be inconsistent in using it. He has never been strong against the run, and can be overpowered. He lacks a good feel for the running game, and will often over-pursue the ball carrier. He can be fooled by good cutback runners. His tackling technique can be inconsistent. When rushing the passer, his speed can also work against him. He will not slow down a step before he reaches the quarterback, which will allow the quarterback to step up and avoid the rush. Outside of the spin move, he lacks any great pass rushes moves.

Overall: Brown is the top pass rusher in the 2009 Draft. He has a great blend of speed, aggressiveness, and production. He is ready to start from Day 1 and should be a high sack player from year to year. He has a great frame and could be either a 4-3 DE or a 3-4 ROLB. If he is drafted by a 3-4 team, they will have to work with him on playing zone coverage, and work on his zone drops. If he is allowed to rush the passer and freed from being more than containment on run plays, he should develop into a high tackle and high sack player.

Injury Concerns: None, he has played in all games he has been eligible for at Florida State.

Also, da ich nicht mehr sagen muss ob Sanchez oder Brown ... ich kann sowohl mit Orakpo als auch mit Brown sehr gut leben; da geht es mir wie Marek.
