Naja - das Regelheft an sich ist auch schon ganz schön umfangreich, da kommt's darauf nicht mehr an...

Außerdem dienen die Anpassungen einem guten Zweck, nämlich realistischen Spielverläufen

The Offense is lined up in the I-Formation. The QB hands the ball to the tailback who avoids a first tackle behind the line of scrimmage but is tackled..... no wait, he comes out of the bulk of lineman, dances aroung the MLB and is of to the races, crosses mitfield and as a lot of open space in front of him. 40, 30, 20, he-could-go-all-the- ohhhhh, das FS catches from behind! A great TD saving tackle at 4-Yard-Line. But wait there is a flag on the field - lets see what the Refs saw.
Penalty: Illegal Procedure, Offense, 5 Yards.
What a break for the Fraggles who will surely accpet that penalty.

Ohne die Strafe, die ja sicher akzeptiert wird, hätte "TD" am Option Die durch den Wurf des Kick-Return Die bestätigt werden müssen.
Hätte der Return Die "NO TD" angezeigt, hätte der Option Die nicht gezählt, sondern der Yard-Wert des Return Die zusätzlich zu den Run-Yards der Scrimmage Dice.

Ich würfel es auf jeden Fall mal aus, damit der Play-Count auch korrekt ist:

Bei korrektem Play Count hinsichtlich der IDs hätte ich wahrscheinlich nicht zwei geblockte Punts in Folge gehabt...

Beasts line up with Twins left and the QB drops 7 steps but is pocket collapses immediately and the End gets him for his first sack at the 3 yard line. What a nice defense play!

Hmmm, möglich, dass ich einen verpasst habe. Für die Regular Season wäre es aber auf alle Fälle eine Premiere.

der ball muss an die 2-yard-linie -- sonst muesste man in weiterer konsequenz ja bei "half the distance" von der 1 an die 0 gehen. ;-)

nein -- eben nicht, wenn man immer auf das naechsthoehere yard rundet.

beispiele
5yd-line -> half the distance = 2,5yd-line -> 3yd-line
4yd-line -> half the distance = 2yd-line -> 2yd-line
3yd-line -> half the distance = 1,5yd-line -> 2yd-line
2yd-line -> half the distance = 1yd-line -> 1yd-line
1yd-line -> half the distance = 0,5yd-line -> 1yd-line
