There it is, the first play from scrimmage. And on the first play of the game the QB drops 7 steps and lets the ball fly but although stacking the box the defense is in double coverage against the Fraggel`s top WR and the ball is batted away by the safety at the 19 Yard line.

Second and a long way to go. Offense is lined up in a three receiver set, the qb takes the snap but pitches to ball to the tailback who has no real running room and is tackled by the cornerback after a small gain of only two yards. Interesting decision by the OC - now third and 18 is coming up.

Korrektur:
Das Play endete in-bounds, da der In/Out Die nur einmal OUT angezeigt hat.

Nur wenn der I/O Die zweimal OUT anzeigt, endet das Play out-of-bounds, und dann würden zwei Notches (nicht eines) von der Uhr genommen.

Ausnahme:
In den letzten zwei Minuten der ersten und in den letzten fünf Minuten der zweiten Halbzeit gilt nur der erste Wurf des I/O Die (außer beim Punt). Und dann würde bei einem Play, das out-of-bounds endet, nur ein Notch statt zwei von der Uhr genommen.

Klar, habe auf das vorherige Play geschaut.... Ändere es gleich.

Third and a mile, the Fraggle`s QB drops back and tries to find someone downfield but throws underneath to the tight end who drops the ball at the 44. But even with a completion this play would not have given the Fraggels a new first down.

1.) Je ein Notch für den Punt und für den Return, also zwei Notches insgesamt.
2.) Beim Return Die zählt die Zahl in Klammern, der Return war also nur 8 yds lang.
