Ich bin nun für eine Woche im Urlaub. Möglicherweise kann ich ab und zu reffen, dies will ich aber nicht versprechen.

Auch hier bin ich mir unsicher, ob ich alles richtig interpretiert habe

Statistisch gesehen ist es kein Fumble, da wir - analog zum TD - davon ausgehen, dass der Ball erst nach Überqueren der Linie frei wurde.

Aber auf die neue Spielsituation hat das keinen Einfluss - alles gut.

Genau.
Wie gesagt, einen Unterschied macht es letztlich nicht. Damit werden nur die Stats etwas aufgehübscht. Es hat immer viel zu viele Fumbles gegeben. Jetzt auch noch eigentlich, aber man kann halt nur soundso viel machen.
