Interception, Fumble und Penalty in einem einzigen Play, nicht schlecht. Hätt nur mehr gefehlt, dass den Ball einer aufnimmt und einen TD draus macht.

Wie wäre das in so einem Fall eigentlich bei einer 5-15-Penalty-Yards-Situation?  Sprich: wenn es bei einem allfälligen Return der malfs eine 15-Yards-Strafe gegen die Defense gegeben hätte?  Die INT wäre wohl trotzdem nicht stehengeblieben, nehme ich an ...

Das zweite Mal im Spiel, dass ich

1. eine Bombe gegn Run Defense calle
2. der Run Defense Die dann INC bringt und
3. die Bombe eh INC fällt

Ohne jetzt nochmal nachzugucken, habe ich das so in Erinnerung:
Bei 5-vs-15-yd Offsetting Penalties wird der Ball um 5 yds gegenüber der vorherigen Line-of-Scrimmage versetzt aufgesetzt (zu Gunsten des Teams mit dem 5-yd-Foul), Down und Yards-to-Go bleiben aber gleich.

Soweit ich weiß, wird bei 5-vs-15 die 15-Yard-Penalty executed, und die 5-Yards-Strafe quasi ignoriert – zumindest, wenn es keinen Turnover gab.  Daher würd's mich dann interessieren, wie das in diesem Fall gewesen wäre.

Okay—»clean hands« war bei mir durch das Foul vor der Interception nicht gegeben.

Übrigens:
Sollten die Eagle Eyes dieses Spiel gewinnen und die Beasts das Spiel gegen die Lawyers nicht mehr drehen, stünden die Eagle Eyes als Gewinner der AFC Australia fest, die Lawyers stünden als #1 Seed der AFC fest, und die Silentknights wären mit 99,9 prozentiger Sicherheit aus dem Wild-Card-Rennen, in welchem die Sparrows ihr eigenes Schicksal kontrollieren würden.

Sollte es ein oder zwei Comebacks geben in den genannten Spielen, würde es recht kompliziert in der AFC werden, glaub' ich...
(Die Lawyers haben freilich die AFC South bereits in der Tasche.)

Die malfs haben auch noch alles selbst in der Hand, oder?  Ich meine, nicht daß wir noch ein Spiel gewinnen würden, aber so rein theoretisch zumindest ... ;-)
