Goldrichtiger Call des Moles DC. Alles andere wäre ein 1st der Kobras geworden. Und so lange der Call der Moles ein Run D ist, hätte es übrigens keinen Call der Kobras gegeben, der das First Down gebracht hätte (auf gut Deutsch: Option Die R20, Bomb INC).

Wenn ich denn von "falls fg no good" nehme ja. Der Call der Kobras fehlt aber noch.

Der Grund für mein 1st Down ist mir eigentlich lang wie breit, solange es nicht nach einem Score meines Gegners ist.    Von daher kannste den Call gerne nehmen. 

Der Grund ist mir normalerweise auch wurscht, die Feldposition aber nicht, und die unterscheidet sich in dem Fall um immerhin 18 yards (wir sind ja nicht bei der NCAA hier ).

Season I, week 4
MoRe's Moles at frontmodes Kobras

At the Snakepit Arena, the 2-1 Moles had a 23-10 lead over the 1-2 Kobras after the third quarter but the Kobras came within three points with an 8-yd TD pass and a 30-yd field goal. After the ensuing kickoff, the Moles QB was sacked on the first play, and then a penalty sent the Moles back to their own 5. Then this happened:

"The Moles are really in trouble here facing a 2nd-and-21 from their own 5 with their lead fading away. Single-back formation, here's the snap, three-step drop, quick pass over to the RIGHT SIDE IS INTERCEPTED BY THE CORNERBACK AND HE'S INTO THE ENDZONE FOR A TOUCHDOWN!!!"

After this 9-yd interception-return touchdown had given the Kobras a 27-23 lead with 5:36 left to play, the Moles in need of a TD drove all the way down to the Kobras 9. But after a penalty and two unsuccessful runs, they had a 3rd-and-Goal from the 17 with 1:48 left.

"Don't forget this is four-down territory, folks, so the Moles have two downs to cover the 17 yds they need. They have three receivers and a tight end on the field. The tight end goes in motion. Here comes the snap, hand-off to the running back, and he finds a gap for a nice gain. And he's still on his feet and... NOW THE BALL IS LOOSE!!! AND THE KOBRAS SEEM TO HAVE IT! WHAT A TACKLE FROM BEHIND! Now let's wait for the refs to... YES, THE KOBRAS HAVE IT!!!!"

The Moles then forced a three-and-out and after a nice punt return, they took over at the Kobras 30. After a pass for no gain, they had a 2nd-and-10 from the 30:
   
"2nd-and-10 from the 30, the game clock is stopped at 24 seconds. They need something big here. Three receivers, a tight end and a running back on the field. The tight end goes in motion. Here's the snap. Hand-off to the running back, cuts to the right... GREAT BLOCK BY THE RECEIVER AND THE RUNNER IS OFF TO A HUGE GAIN AND GOES OUT OF BOUNDS AT THE 6-YD LINE. But wait a second, there is a flag on the play."

The flag turned out a defensive offside that was declined and so the Moles had one play left from the 6-yd line to save the day:

"All comes down to this play. The Moles need 6 yds, they need a touchdown. Single-back formation again. In motion goes the slot receiver. Here's the snap, the quarterback drops back. Nothing open. He's got to throw. Checks down, throws to the RUNNING BACK AND HE'S STOPPED IMMEDIATELY. THE KOBRAS WIN IT!!!"

This loss proved crucial for the Moles who had started the season 2-0 but then lost three-in-a-row and in the end missed out on the playoffs. The Kobras failed to make the playoffs as well when they lost their regular-season finale to the Silentknights.

Na, komm... Du hast schließlich gerade 'nen TD erzielt, wahrscheinlich werden es gleich 14 statt wie damals 13 Punkte Vorsprung sein, und die Kobras haben weniger Zeit als damals

Kuck dir an, wie lange mein "Drive" gedauert hat, und kuck dir an, wie lange noch zu spielen ist. Neeneenee!    Erst wenn das berühmte Pferd ohne zu    an der ebenso berühmten Apotheke vorbei ist werde ich - vorsichtig! - anfangen darüber nachzudenken, ob es möglicherweise unter gewissen Umständen vielleicht ein Sieg werden _könnte_ .
