Welcome to the exhibition match between the visiting igorz malfunxionistz and the Prussian Warriors. The match will be played at the Olympic Battlefield.

While the mafunxionistz didn't reach the first ever QFL playoffs - they were only 4th in the Australian Division - the Warriors conquered the division title in the Gothic Division as the only playoff team not being located in the Australian Division. But the Warriors suffered a heart-breaking 27-30 loss to zugschefz dieselz in the first round of the playoffs. Now the Warriors try to overcome the disappointment to gain new confidence for the next season, very much like the malfunxionistz.

The list with the keywords - every five minutes a new keyword will be used - will be sent to Duffeldoffel asap. The coin will be tossed at 6:40 PM today.

Ich darf noch darauf hinweisen, dass wir beginnend mit diesem Spiel die NFL-Regeländerung für Kickoffs umsetzen müssen: Kickoffs werden von der 35 ausgeführt.

Das gestrige. Leider kam mir dann was dazwischen, was ich so nicht abgesehen hatte.    Coin toss kommt jetzt aber gleich.

Der Kickoff Die wird ja wg. der angedachten Regeländerungen zweimal geworfen, wenn er beim ersten Wurf ein OUT zeigt. Ich hoffe, das hier stimmt so bzgl. der Möglichkeiten nach der Strafe. Falls nicht, bitte korrekte Möglichkeiten hier posten.

Ob das Spiel hier jemals über den Opening Kickoff hinaus kommt?     

ich nehme das first down, aber es muesste an meiner 30 sein – 30 yards vom spot des kicks entfernt, der ja an der WAR 40 stattfand.

hmm, ich hab mal kurz recherchiert – es scheint, als wuerde der ball bei o.o.b. kicks trotzdem an der 40 aufgelegt werden:

Scheint tatsächlich so zu sein - wie albern...

in der tat.  wenn schon, dann waere es sinnvoller, den ball nach einem o.o.b.-kickoff nicht 30, sondern eben nur 25 yards nach dem kickoff-spot aufzulegen (damit man wieder an der 40 ist); ansonsten »verfallen« penalties gegen das return team ja, wie gerade eben...
