The QB takes the snap, gives the hand-off to the tailback and he finds a gap to slip through for a decent gain of 5 yds.

Now, this will mark the end of the first quarter, we are still scoreless, and the Malfs will have second-and-five to open the second quarter when we come back.

Wenn sich das Spiel nun auch in der Offense diesem Niveau anpassen würde gäbe es nichts zu meckern ...

Aber dem Lob an den Spielleiter und Kommentator schließe ich mich dennoch uneingeschränkt an.

Here's the snap, hand-off to the tailback, finds a gap, breaks a tackle, has a blocker down the sideline, but can't manage to stay in bounds. But he has a new First Down and more.

A 20-yd gain that gives the Malfs the advantage in the field-position battle at least for now. This has been the longest play from scrimmage so far today.

And he has actually lost a yard on the play so he had better dropped the ball, but now it's third-and-eleven.
And so far, the Malfs have converted 0-for-3 on Third Downs.

Wie es der Zufall will, haben igor und ich uns gerade darüber unterhalten, wie man sowas in Zukunft ermöglichen kann. Dass es schon eine Regelung dafür gegeben hat, wüsste ich nicht. Aber ich checke nochmal das Regelbuch...

...he immediatley cuts to the left, tries to avoid a tackle, but he has to go out of bounds for a short return of about 6 yds.

So, the Kobras will start their next possession deep in their own territory when we come back.

Here's the snap, hand-off to the running back but he gets nothing.
The Malfs Run Defense still looks very sharp. The longest run they have conceded so far has been the 5-Yarder on the previous play.
So, the Kobras are facing Third Down again, so far they have been 0-for-4 on Third Downs. However they did manage to convert a Fourth Down earlier which probably would be no option this deep inside their own half.
