Die Defense ist schon wieder ready.

Da die Zeit in dieser Halbzeit schön langsam knapp wird, weise ich auf die diversen Methoden zum Zeitmanagement hin:

• No-Huddle
  
• Timeout
  
• Spike
  

Nicht vergessen: man muß es immer im Vorhinein ankündigen, ggf. verknüpft mit Bedingungen.  Ein Klassiker ist zum Beispiel: »Option Pass I/O; danach TO wenn die Uhr nicht von selbst anhält, sonst NH falls Raumgewinn«.

Wichtig außerdem: in den letzten zwei Minuten der ersten Halbzeit (sowie später auch in den letzten fünf Minuten der zweiten Halbzeit) wird bei Passing Plays nur der erste I/O-Die zur Bestimmung herangezogen, ob ein Play out ouf bounds endet.  Im Klartext: in diesem Zeitraum beträgt bei Passing Plays die Wahrscheinlichkeit, daß das Play o.o.b. endet, 50 % anstatt der sonst üblichen 25 %.

Dafür war der Ref dann aber sehr früh wieder am Werk.

Den zweiten Teil des Satzes würde ich nicht öffentlich posten.  Theoretisch hätte es ja sein können, daß die Basterds noch nicht gecallt haben, und dann hätten sie jetzt gewußt, daß sie auf jeden Fall die Block-Defense schicken können und nicht mit einem Fake zu rechnen brauchen. ;-)
