Nach Jed vor ein paar Wochen, hat sich nun Mike Singletary bei mir gemeldet...

Dear Mr. Katz,

As you have seen this season, I live and coach by a simple belief, I want winners. I know that I have a winner in you, a member of the 49ers Faithful: Our season ticket family.

Through hard work and dedication we expect to win in 2009. We have the utmost respect for what this team means to our fans. We intend to honor your passion and commitment each and every day we come to work.  You deserve nothing less.

Your loyal support as a season ticket holder plays a vital role in our ability to keep improving, reach the playoffs and return to the Super Bowl. I am calling on The Faithful to maintain our home field advantage at Candlestick Park in 2009. The bolt of electricity that shot through Candlestick as Joe Nedney's kick sailed through the uprights was a perfect transition into next season.

All of us at the 49ers wish you a happy and healthy New Year and look forward to continuing what we started in the second half of the season.
