So gesehen...

Vermutlich hätte entweder mein Running Back oder mein Quarterback in der Endzone gefumbled...

4th & Goal WAS at RED-4, 5:00 (1)

Zitat
Penalty: Tripping, Defense, 10 Yards, automatic First Down.

   Accept: 1st & 10 RED at RED-43

Can you believe this -- two tripping penalties in one quarter?  I guess the Wasps' defensive lineman took revenge for what happened earlier, but that's just plain stupid.

... and they return to the running back. He finds a hole over the middle, avoids one defender, nice effort, and pushes his way forward to what could be a new first down.  The refs are spotting the ball now, and this one looks pretty close, too hard to tell from my position.  The chain gang is entering the field, let's see if the Reds made it...  yes!  The tip of the ball peeks about two or three inches past the marker, and the Reds are in Wasps' territory.

... and instead the Reds run an option! The quarterback rolls out to the left, now tosses it to the running back as the linebacker approches him, and the running back tries to get around the cornerback, but he can't avoid him and gets tackled -- loss of a yard.

This makes it fourth down for the Reds with a tough decision coming up.  They are almost too far away to try a field goal, which would be a 56 yard attempt.  On the other hand, punting might get them just about 20 yards, so they might go for it here.
