Der noch amtierende QFL World Champion, silentsound's Silentknights, ist zu Gast bei den Niners Sparrows, und für beide Teams ist es ein Must-Win, um noch realistische Chancen auf die Playoffs zu haben.
Die Sparrws (1-2-1) erlitten letzte Woche eine herbe Klatsche bei den Deichclimbers, gegen deren No-Huddle Offense sie komplett überfordert wirkten. Die Tatsache, dass sie ihre beiden Niederlagen und das Tie gegen die drei Top-Teams dieser Saisons erlitten, macht insofern Hoffnung, dass die Sparrows ihre schwersten Aufgaben hinter sich haben könnten. Allerdings müssen sie nun abliefern.
Für die 'Knights (0-3), deren Head Coach silentsound an die Sideline zurückkehrt, ist die Sache klar. Nur eine perfekte zweite Saisonhälfte kann ihnen eine mathematische Chance auf die Titelverteidigung bewahren. Im gegenwärtig noch laufenden Spiel gegen die billygoats, das sie unter Interim Coach igor bestreiten, sieht es gut aus für die 'Knights. Es ist zwingend notwendig, heute darauf aufzubauen.

Das letzte Meeting gab es letzte Saison in Week 4 auch hier im "Spatzennest", als die 'Knights mit 36-27 gewannen und, ebenfalls nach einem 0-3 Start, ihre Meisterschaftssaison auf den Weg brachten - vielleicht ein gutes Omen für die 'Knights.

herzlichen dank für dieses wow spiel... ich habe ja nun schon einige hier absolviert ... aber für mich persönlich war dieses das spektakulärste...vielen dank an die sparrows und natürlich an unseren ref.. :cheerleader: :champagne:
Die Sparrows sind übrigens noch nicht aus dem Playoff-Rennen, jedoch sind die Chancen natürlich stark gesunken, mathematisch auf so ca. 9 Prozent.
