Die Regel, den Fokus mit einer Blitz D "freizuschalten" wurde abgeschafft. Nur wenn der letzte Defense Call vor dem No-Huddle eine Blitz D war, gibt es erst dann einen Fokus, wenn entweder Pass D oder Run D gecallt wurde.
In diesem Fall war es eine Pass D, also gilt der Pass Fokus.

Alternative wäre 3rd-and-5 from F80 20, wenn die Strafe abgelehnt wird (auch 0:36), aber angesichts der Tatsache, dass ein FG den Sparrows eh reichen würde, kann man wohl davon ausgehen, dass die Strafe akzeptiert wird.
Die die Offense den "Whispering Service" wahrnimmt und bereits wusste, dass die Strafe kommen würde, liegt der nächste Offensive Call bereits vor.

Congrats an die Sparrows zu diesem Auftakterfolg. Anfangs war das Spiel etwas unspektugal, aber dann zog es an. Letztlich gab es insgesamt fünf Lead Changes, davon alleine drei im dritten Quarter.
Eine bittere Niederlage sicherlich für die Flash 80s, die sich auf der Siegerstraße zu befinden schienen, und dann patzte das Special Team. Aber Kopf hoch, das sah insgesamt nicht schlecht aus.

Ich kann meinem Team da kaum einen Vorwurf machen, nach anfänglichen Problemen kam unsere Offense besser in Tritt und hat es dann doch geschafft ein paar gute Drives hinzulegen. Leider haben wir etwas die Effiziens vermissen lassen. Auch die Defense war super, die Jungs haben kaum etwas zugelassen und waren im richtigen Moment eigentlich zur Stelle... Dass so ein enges Spiel durch einen geblockten Punt entschieden wurde, ist natürlich bitter für die Jungs, aber da müssen sie jetzt durch. Das ist unsere erste Saison in der Liga und alles muss sich erst ein wenig finden, aber ich denke darauf lässt sich aufbauen und wir werden in den nächsten Spielen an den Schwächen arbeiten und es den nächsten Gegnern noch schwerer machen!
An dieser Stelle auch meinen Glückwunsch an die Sparrows und viel Erfolg für den Rest der Saison.

Yesss.......puh....was für ein Auftakt im ersten Spiel als Neuling in der Liga. Schon der Beginn mit dem Safety war nicht normal und fehlerbehaftet. Das hat sich durch das ganze Spiel gezogen. Die D war ziemlich gut, bis auf einen Drive, der zum TD führte. Die O hat noch viel Potential nach oben und muss noch besser an der Abstimmung arbeiten. Insgesamt ist es ein glücklicher Sieg. Beide hätten den Sieg verdient. Die Schlussphase hatte alles zu bieten und beide Teams machten es nochmal sehr spannend. Der erste Sieg ist in der Tasche und es werden hoffentlich noch weitere folgen. Die Statistik zeigt, dass es ein ausgeglichenes Spiel war.
Vielen Dank an die Flash 80s für diese emotional geladene Spiel zweier Liganeulinge. Es hat sehr viel Spass gemacht.
Ebenso einen herzlichen Dank udn ein grosses Lob an den souveränen Rev, der auch jederzeit mit Rat zur Seite stand. Am Clockmanagement muss ich mich noch sehr viel verbessern.
