Herzlich willkommen im Grand Courtroom zum allerersten Championship Game der AFC, es mit mir ein Vergnügen und eine Ehre, selbiges leiten zu dürfen. Beide Teams konnten in ihrer Premierensaison ihre Division gewinnen und den Einzug in die Playoffs feiern. Das bisher einzige Aufeinandertreffen in der Geschichte der Teams konnten die Lawyers am gleichen Spielort mit 40-35 knapp für sich entscheiden. Man darf gespannt sein, ob die Lawyers ihren Heimvorteil wieder nutzen können, oder ob die Eagle Eyes die Revanche gelingt.
Die Keys hänge ich wieder in einem verschlüsseltem ZIP an, nach dem Spiel gibt's das Passwort dazu (wird erfahrungsgemäß aus dem Büro nicht funktionieren, ich versuche das bis zu Hause dann nicht zu vergessen und liefere es am Abend nach). Die erste ID ist die interne ID dieses Postings (ersichtlich beim Direktlink auf das Posting; weiß ich erst nach dem posten, daher kommt sie auch erst im nächsten Posting), danach wird durchgehend raufgezählt. Ich hab's Dir eh per PN schon geschrieben. Du kannst nicht kicken, höchstens wenn die Eagle Eyes den PAT versemmeln beim Return, aber das wäre erstens nicht legal und zweitens in den QFL Rules nicht vorgesehen.

Sorry, ja, mein Fehler. Mir war zwischen PN lesen, Dice-Roller bedienen und Auswertung hier noch etwas dazwischen gekommen (immer diese lästigen Kollegen, die glauben, ich wäre zum Arbeiten im Büro ;-)). Wird sofort korrigiert. Uhr steht damit bei 0:36 und die Eagle Eyes haben noch alle Timeouts.

Als ich mit dem veröffentlichen Keyword die letzten Plays vor der Halbzeit durchgespielt habe, ist mir eine Regelfrage aufgefallen: was wäre gewesen wenn ich mit einem notch (12 Sekunden) ein FG gekicked hätte und es eine Holding Penalty gegen die Offense gegeben hätte? Ist dann Halbzeit oder kann ich irgendwie (Timeout?) erreichen dass ich nochmal kicken kann?
Dann wäre Halbzeit gewesen.

Wir richten uns ja nach der NFL, und da ist es schon sehr lange so, dass es am Spot des Kicks weitergeht.
"Nicht retournierbarer Miss" richtete sich eigentlich an die Anmerkung, dass ein zu kurzer 49-yd Attempt nicht realistisch ist.
Deswegen spreche ich auch nie von "short", sondern immer nur von "missed". Es sei denn natürlich, ein Missed FG wird retourniert, was ja lt. QFL Rules möglich ist, wenn der Kick wenigstens 50 yds geflogen ist.

Mathematisch betrachtet hat mich überrascht, dass es keine TPC gegeben hat.
Mich auch, und die Defense offenbar auch. :-)
War mir aber zu wenig, um auf die "Bad Calls" - Regel zurückzugreifen.

Danke euch beiden für die Glückwünsche :cheers: Die kleinen Verzögerungen waren doch nicht wild, vier Monate ist eh ungefähr der Schnitt.
Nach einem sehr mäßigen Start in die Saison darf mein Expansion Team nun also im Fever Bowl ran :cheerleader: Die Bombe am Ende der ersten Halbzeit und das Roughing the kicker beim Punt haben das Spiel wohl hauptsächlich in meine Richtung gedreht.
