Ich darf Euch hiermit beim zweiten All-Star Game der QFL begrüßen. Nach einer langen und schwierigen Entscheidungsfindungsphase und dem mühsamen Auszählen von mehreren Millionen Stimmen (http://49ersfanzone.net/fanzone/football-games-zone/qfl-all-star-game/msg244247/#msg244247) ist die Entscheidung gefallen, das dieses Spiel forthin "Ice Bowl" heißen soll. Die Beasts fühlen sich geehrt, diese Premiere in Ihrem Heimstadion, dem "Green Dungeon", ausrichten zu dürfen.
Als Coaches der beiden Teams aus Gothic und Australian Division fungieren auch diesmal wieder die Coaches der jeweils zwei besten Teams, die die Playoffs verpasst haben. Für die Nordics sind das MoRe99 (Captain, Defense, Return Teams) und Niner (Offense, Kicking Teams), für die Alpines igor (Captain, Offense, Kicking Teams) und maXi49 (Defense, Return Teams).
Die Keys werden im nächsten Posting verschlüsselt angehängt, das Passwort gibt es nach Ende der Partie. Wie üblich wechseln wir bei 15:00, 10:00 und 05:00 in jedem Quarter den Key, eine eventuelle Overtime wird komplett mit Key #13 abgewickelt. Die ID wird durchgehend raufgezählt, als AnfangsID nehme ich die letzten vier Stellen dieses Beitrags Die weiß ich natürlich erst nach dem Posten, daher kommt der jetzt per Edith:

Auch für dieses Dead-Ball Foul müsste 1 Notch von der Uhr genommen werden, da die Game Clock mit Ball-ready wieder startete und erst bei Ablauf der Play Clock (Delay) wieder zum Stehen kam.

Naja, mit einer Run D gegen den Run io wäre es immer noch kein 1st gewesen (und die Nordics hätten sich an dieser Stelle kräftig in den Arsch beißen dürfen, weil ein FG try nämlich sehr wohl das 1st gebracht hätte).
Ich meinte auch eher das Draw Offside, das zum zweiten Mal in diesem Spiel geklappt hat. Nach dem ersten Draw Offside folgte der erste von bislang zwei bestätigten TDs am Option Die für die Nordics.
Bitte keine Reds-Vergleiche an dieser Stelle, denn die Reds hätten an der 28 wohl eher nicht versucht, offside zu drawen, wenn sie im Misserfolgsfall keine Timeout hätten nehmen dürften...
...was mich dazu gebracht hat, die noch einmal zu kontrollieren. Ich habe leider vergessen, das letzte TO am Scoreboard einzutragen. Die Nordics haben also noch ein TO, bitte die Nordics daher ihren Call entweder zu bestätigen oder zu ändern.

Eigentlich ging es mir bei der Rückfrage hauptsächlich darum, ob Du das TO tatsächlich - wie angekündigt - auf jeden Fall nehmen willst, in Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass es eben das letzte war. Dass Du gleich den ganzen Call änderst, dafür kann ich nichts (und wie gesagt: ich wusste ja auch nicht, dass der ursprüngliche Call so schlecht nicht gewesen wäre...).

Ich glaub du bist da etwas durcheinander: mit Strafe 1st ans 11, ohne 2nd and 10 wäre glaube ich richtig.
Ich hatte wieder einmal vergessen, die oberste Ziele anzupassen (raufzukopieren), das hat mich dann selbst aus dem Konzept gebracht. Die Wahl wäre demzufolge 1st & 11 oder 2nd & 11 gewesen, ersteres ist aus Sicht der Defense natürlich Blödsinn.
Und nachdem ich die Verwirrung somit hoffentlich aufklären konnte: Ein Call der Defense wäre was Feines.

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, was mit Reiner los ist. Der ist normalerweise recht flott mit seinen Calls. Ich bin gerne dabei bei einer Session. Mir dauert das auch schon zu lang. Wochenende ist bei mir halt eher ungünstig, aber einen Abend unter der Woche können wir uns gerne ausmachen.
Es ginge auch eine Mittagspause z.B. ...

Da fällt mir ein: der FG-Die zeigt neuerdings ja immer um 5 Yards mehr an, dank der Regeländerungen für Season III – das gilt es zu berücksichtigen!

So schnell würde ich das nicht schließen wollen: Es muss ja nur ein Wert sein, der um 5 verringert nicht vorkommt. Also wüsste ich bei folgenden Werten sofort (weil ich ja die unveränderten FG Werte immer im Kopf habe), dass die Erhöhung am Dice Roller schon gemacht wurde:

Kommt für uns zu spät. Wir haben die Saison so angefangen und müssen sie auch so zu Ende bringen.
Bei den Proposals ist übrigens 'ne ganze Menge Quatsch dabei - aber auch einiges Gutes. Und die guten Sachen (vom Sack-Timekeeping abgesehen) betreffen die QFL gar nicht.

Hmm ... kann ich an dieser Stelle eigentlich einen Fair Catch kick versuchen? Haben wir das überhaupt im Reglement? Kann das hier am Handy auf die Schnelle nicht eruieren.

Good point – eigentlich müßte der Kick o.o.B. gegangen sein.
Ich finde, es KANN einen Fair-Catch Kick geben.
Aus dem Original-Regelwerk:
"The Onside Kick Die
— The In/Out of Bounds die is used together with the
Onside Kick die to prevent the receiving team from returning the kick. If an OUT (out-of-bounds) occurs, the football was carried out-of-bounds."
Das Keyword ist "carried". Der Ball kann ja erst nach dem Catch "gecarried" werden, und natürlich kann ein Return Team bei jedem Kick einen Fair Catch anmelden. Tut es das, kann der Ball aber logischerweise nicht "gecarried" werden. (Oder man setzt es gleich mit "driven out-of-bounds by his own momentum after the fair catch").
Ich finde, die Logik spricht dafür, dass es einen Fair-Catch Kick geben kann (wenn man das denn unbedingt mit immerhin noch 1 Minute und drei Timeouts von der 47 aus tun möchte, wo der Gegner im Misserfolgsfall den Ball bekäme mit immerhin noch 48 Sekunden und 2 Timeouts).

Man könnte es durchaus als mutig bezeichnen, wenn man lachend in eine Kreissäge läuft. Ob's dann auch sinnvoll ist, wird das Ergebnis zeigen. ;-)

Man könnte es durchaus als mutig bezeichnen, wenn man lachend in eine Kreissäge läuft. Ob's dann auch sinnvoll ist, wird das Ergebnis zeigen. ;-)

Z'wegen fair catch kick: Also ich weiß nicht. Einen Fair Catch bei einem Onside Kick hätte ich noch nie gesehen. Wäre auch - außer um eben einen FCK auszuführen eher sinnlos. Der Schutz für den Spieler, der FC angezeigt hat gilt nur, solange der Ball im Flug ist, also bei den meisten onside kicks gar nicht. Des weiteren muss das Signal gegeben werden, während der Ball in der Luft ist - ob sich das zeitlich überhaupt ausgeht ist mA anzuzweifeln. Und schließlich: Wenn der Ball den Boden berührt ist es auch kein FC mehr.
Insgesamt wäre ich also eher gegen den FCK nach einem onside kick.

Mir ist es einmal in der NFL aufgefallen, bei einem hohen Onside Kick, daß einer vom Receiving Team ein Fair-Catch-Signal gegeben hat. Aber eben wirklich nur einmal bewußt. (Ich glaube, das war Vernon Davis.)

Das auch ja, ich hab' einfach einmal vorausgewürfelt und geschaut, ob irgendwann noch ein bestätigter TD am Option Die kommen könnte. Wusste natürlich nicht, wer hier den Ball haben wird. Möglichkeiten zu Turnovers hätt's davor nämlich auch schon gegeben (und ein TD der Nordics wär vorher auch drin gewesen).

Vielen Dank meinem Mitstreiter und unseren Gegnern sowie dem Ref! Eine sehr schöne Partie, wie ich finde. Gefühlt kommt es hier in der QFL leider nicht allzu oft vor, daß ein Spiel eigentlich über die gesamte Dauer knapp bleibt und erst ganz am Ende entschieden wird. So macht's richtig Laune! =)

Ich hab' das durchaus schon gesehen - ist zwar grandios in die Hose gegangen (hat den Ball nicht richtig zu fassen bekommen :D ), aber möglich ist das schon.
Gratulation an die Alpines - unterstreicht die große Überlegenheit der Australian Division in Seaosn II ;)
Diese Saison gewinnen dann wieder die Nordics :D

Nachdem wir "no huddle" hatten wäre nur Run D oder Blitz D gegangen - beides im Endeffekt wirkungslos. Einzige Möglichkeit wäre TO / Pass D gewesen.
