Willkommen im neuen Stadium Up Diek!

Zur Einweihung dieser funkelnagelneuen Arena steigt hier die fünfte Edition des QFL All-Star Games, die Ice Bowl.

Wie üblich treten an die Nordics und die Alpines - trotz des relativ nördlich gelegenen Stadions haben die Alpines das formelle Heimrecht.

Die Serie ist mit 2-2 ausgeglichen. Letzte Saison siegten die Nordics relativ deutlich mit 40-7.

Nachdem die Teams letzte Saison erstmals per Draft zusammengestellt wurden, repräsentieren die beiden Teams dieses Mal wieder ihre Divisionen.

Für die Nordics (Northern Division) wird Niner, Coach der Prussian Warriors, die Offense und Kicking Teams betreuen. Es ist bereits seine vierte Ice-Bowl-Teilnahme, womit er einsamer Rekordhalter ist.

Letzte Saison feierte Niner auch seinen ersten Ice-Bowl-Sieg und zwar im direkten Duell mit seinem heutigen Teampartner, frontmode, der letztes Mal die Defense der Alpines betreute.

Heute hofft frontmode in seiner zweiten Ice Bowl auf ein besseres Ergebnis, wenn er für die Defense und Return Teams der Nordics verantwortlich zeichnet.

Für die Alpines (Southern Division) treten sozusagen zwei Ice-Bowl-Rookies an. Sowohl NinersUlm als auch jetto hatten zuvor immer die Postseason erreicht, wenn sie an der QFL teilnahmen.

jetto, der mit seinen Basterds letzte Saison gleich in seiner Rookie-Saison die Fever Bowl gewann, könnte als erster beide Bowls gewinnen. Er wird die Calls für die Offense und Kicking Teams geben.

Für die Defense und Return Teams der Alpines wird NinersUlm zuständig sein, der mit seinen Sparrows den Eagle Eyes die einzige Niederlage in der Regular Season beibringen konnte.

Es treten an die #4 Offense (Warriors/Nordics) gegen die #5 Defense (Sparrows/Alpines) sowie die #1 Offense (Basterds/Alpines) gegen die #1 Defense (Kobras/Nordics).

Die Basterds Offense (Alpines) hatte 13 Giveways, die Kobras Defense (Nordics) 12 Takeaways. Die Warriors Offense (Nordics) hatte 2 Giveaways, die Sparrows Defense (Alpines) 8 Takeaways.

Die Warriors trafen während der Saison sowohl auf die Basterds als auch auf die Sparrows und unterlagen jeweils knapp. Auch die Kobras konnten gegen die Basterds nicht gewinnen.

Die Alpines (6-6 combined) könnten gegen die Nordics (4-8 combined) knapp in der Favoritenrolle gesehen werden.

Kommen wir zu den Modalitäten.

13 Keywords wurden festgelegt und unserem Commish, igor, als Keyword Official vorgelegt.

Neue KWs kommen jeweils zu Beginn eines Quarters zum Einsatz, ferner wird gewechselt, wenn die Marken 10:00 bzw 5:00 durch ein abgeschlossenes Play erreicht oder überschritten werden. Das 13. KW wäre für die Overtime.

Die erste ID (Coin Toss) errechnet sich aus den gezählten Posts der vier Protagonisten zum jetztigen Zeitpunkt, von da an wird mit jedem Operieren des Dice Rollers um 1 hochgezählt bis zum Ende des Spiels.

Na schön...

Es ist zwar nur ein TD Unterschied und man hätte versuchen können, einen Fumble zu forcieren. Hätte das nicht geklappt und man hätte aber die Timeouts genommen, hätte man vielleicht ein 3-and-out forciert. Dann hätte man nach einem Punt noch 24 Sekunden gehabt, womit man noch zwei Plays hätte spielen können, wenn man nach dem ersten Play spikt, und man hätte Laterals werfen können...

Aber was soll's, ist ja nur die Ice Bowl... :noidea:

Somit also Congrats an die Nordics, die quasi den Titel aus der vorherigen Saison erfolgreich verteidigt haben.

Die Nordics führen damit die Serie gegen die Alpines mit 3-2 an.
